To work on “victimization” or eliminating it can be a challenge. One author I like is Eckhart Tolle and he has some practical advice and methodology to do just that.
I just read that Oprah is endorsing Eckhart Tolle’s book A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose. I have read several of his books including The Power of Now and Practicing The Power Of Now. I have found them to be very powerful and profound and I highly recommend them.
Practicing the Power of Now is a very easy read and packed with great information about living in the now.
Tolle is originally from Germany and now lives in Vancouver, BC.
If you have not had an opportunity to do so, check his work out. It could easily change your life.
Of course being in Oprah’s Book of the Month Club will certainly ensure this latest work will be well read.
One of my favorite authors is Wayne Dyer when I was introduced to his book, “Real Magic“. I was fortunate to have been in the audience to hear one of his presentations. Amazing how he can talk for hours without referring to a note. His presence is amazing.

For the word for today which I found in the free rice part of the helping others section here, the word I chose today is blench. Here are the choices:
1.subside
2.behave
3.flinch
4.exaggerate
Now as for my behavior surrounding this, I am not exaggerating, nor am I flinching away from it, or letting it subside into the abyss. So give it a guess or if you know, good for you! Perhaps when you do the helping others for today you will discover it in there also.
Wishing you much good fortune, today and everyday, in all ways and always.
Are you more left-brained, right-brained or somewhere in between?
Do you know why you are here, what is your purpose?
Do you care?
Have you discovered the meaning of life?
Is there one. No Q mark? Is that a question or a statement?
If so what is it? What is what? The meaning of life, of course!
I think many of us want to know and are seeking. So if you know, please share it.
Well, I have no idea, do you? Well perhaps that is not quite on the mark. I do have a few suspicions, inklings and such!
Those are just a few things to think about and if you have the answer, let me know. It will be different for different folks I reckon. Ok, don’t go getting dyspeptic on me now. Ha, got that one from the Free Rice part of the Helping Others section. Lots of interesting things over there. Boogie on over when you got a chance and set and click a spell.
I do have other things to present here but I am preoccupied with a few things at the moment.
Here is a bit from Sri Chinmoy. Which Sri Chinmoy I am not sure. I attended some mediations in Winnipeg some years ago in one of his meditation “houses”. May not be the same person. The one I knew of had New York connections and used his mind to create much and was quite powerful. There was a “wow” factor to what he could do using his mind.
Here is one of his quotes:
“Your mind is full of questions.
Only one Master can answer them.
Who is this Master?
Your heart in love with silence.”

This also is an interesting quote:
“Thought is a language that has no sound,
while words are the symbols of a language.
When language and thinking are excessive,
they become a hindrance to wisdom.”
Zen
Of course language is left-brain oriented and that is one form of intelligence. Symbols and such, perhaps the way to explore higher consciousness is accessing the right-brain.
Just a few things to think about, or not. Perhaps the “or not” is more like it and it means more intuitively.
