I am not much on conspiracy theories, doom and gloom and all that jazz.  It just seems a bit pointless and useless.

Still I had occasion to present an idea to Lydia, of the Serenity Talk and Serenity’s House of Opportunity fame,  a short while ago and then to js of the world famous 9 Planets et al.  Holy Cowa-Bungee jumping moldy.  What a shock.

Lydia, my love expressed her thoughts saying how plain it was and then js piped in afterwards with these kind words,  “Dang Gene, that’s a terrible b!” Conspiracy theories aside, what a coincidence.  Others, prime new age folkeroos,  would say there are no coincidences.  The two of them bashing and gnashing and clashing away.  Oh woe is moi.

Both have also been very quiet and not commentary on these posts, so that further gets my suspicions honed and toned.  For sure you may say, they do not read my bloggies.  But indeed that sometimes gets highly and hotly denied.  Ah The Queens of Denial.   Is that a book or another story in the making?

Alas, so now what can I do.  It may be plain, unblinking, no-neonic, non-flashy, non-flashing,  and simple.  (Quiet!)  But leave smoking dogs lie, will ya.

Ok, what the doozehoofer is this all about?  Well I will tell you, it is about my latest creation.  The wild, in a plain kind of way, banner I did for Genes Easy Ways To Blog.  And here it is folks.   I needed a 125 x 125 banner to change from the Winning Notes one js kindly is showing on his blog.  Now as I recall he did not like that one either.   But still he, as he is known to do, kindly displayed it for all the world to see, on the bottom but still it is there.

Once again, drum roll please, here is the new, only for prime time folks,  banner.

What to do?

So I need your support folks,  if this banner is so bad.  Say so.  Do not just be part of the problem, becometh part of the solution.   Please design a better one, aka banner, for me.  I have a need for two of them.  One is the 125 x 125 banner and another is for the traditional 468 x 60  banners used on most sites.  Also what should I offer as a prize.   A buck or two.   Recommend something please.   Also submit the banners to me as soon as possible.  I reserve the rights to use all any any banners submitted for my own private use, even if they are awful.

URGENT. I interrupt this blog for some important news in response to my previous post. Is this a conspiracy or what?

I do think they may have conspired against me.  Who?  Friends really.  Well perhaps it is the Serene one, aka Serenity and the guy from 9 Planets.  How he manages to spread himself all over those planets and why, who knows, but pay no attention to that. I say let him travel the universe one planet at a time and see what that will do for him-ski. He is aka js and micronuts but I don’t want to imagine that at all, do you?

Wait a minute bud, do not lose track of the purpose of this post.  Yes I am going to expose them, here today, in this post. No I cannot hold out any longer. This has gone too far, way too far.

Let’s go green for a minute or should I say red.  No it has to be green. Before I go into this I do not believe it has anything to the real magic mushrooms I have been taking.  Not at all.  Not one green pea, salty dog, soap nuts, iota, fungi or spore. I am not seeing double, triple or leprechauns.  More on the soap nuts later on and somewhere else, I will let you guess where that will be. When, I don’t know, yet.

Still those magic mushrooms are so very powerful and are indeed concentrated stuff but I will save that for the creative waves blog.  So, hint, hint,  be on the lookout over there soon.  The death theme may be resurrected soon also.  Good timing as I am writing this on Good Friday.  It was so good today I had to work.  I may get to post this by Good Sunday.

You may recall awhile back when js, my friend, the Planet 9 guy, or the guy from 9 planets, had an advertising business site going, he offered a contest, the first guy to refer 10 members gets a prize.  Well, that was me folks. Yes, indeedy do, I won that one fair and square.

Yes, and I am still waiting for that prize he promised to the winner.  Holy smokes.  I do recall getting paid something by js but how much was it js?  50 cents to my PayPal account-ski?   Was that really for winning or for something else?  I think it was for something else. But I will pretend it was for winning. He really greased my pockets with that tidy sum of money.  It almost broke my PayPal account in two-some. I had to apply for a higher limit after that payment! he-he.

If it was for winning,  I think I am going to offer a prize for a contest and double that prize.  I may even go higher than that. Why you may ask?  And you should ask!

I do not want to be seen as a cheapskate. After all his first offer, and I recall this very well, was a trip to Mars. I really wanted that one. Never mind there is no truth in advertising. Which also reminds me, did that advertising business js had, go bankrupt?

Off Topic. Well maybe it is not. I am staying green, that seems to be a good fit for today, go green and save the planet. I may go navy again but that will only be for a short while if I do.

Well, I am not sure I am going to have time to finish this off today and thus the exposure I mentioned is going to have to wait for another day or so.  Some of what I have detailed here today is relevant, some not, your job, my friends, is to figure out which is and which is not.  Got some other business to take care of today.

But get ready and prepared to hear the big news, the dastardly details, laid out in the full Monty.  No more no less. And no peeking until I say so. It will be worth it and I may even get you to vote on the prize, once I reveal all to the world.

Some of you may have heard of them or even know of our friends js and Lydia, bloggers and all that stuff.  Soon to be exposed, I have thought this over carefully, well not really but it sounds better then just let these things fly.  I will be back in a little while, hopefully today.   No promises but I am sure that something will come together.

BTW, I would like you all to vote on this.  The excitement is building. Do not worry it will all become clear very soon.  It is all in good fun.  This is not a program and won’t cost you a penny.  Yes indeed, and the games that people play.

I woke up late today, awake at 6AM but decided not today. No way.  So I made my mind up to stay and vegetate.  And so I did.   Did not get around to checking the net until much later.

Almost took the whole day off but found some more presents in my emails from the birthday bonus club.  I received a number of emails and e-cards from good folks like Lydia, js, Dev, Oksana, Cindy, jean, Melita, Judy on Twitter.

Oops, just got an email transfer. Thanks Erin!

Lydia posted a sweet birthday greeting on her Serenity Blog.  Thanks again Lydia, you are a sparkling gem!  And js (9PlanetReviews) posted my picture on his blog, well I am not sure I quite look like that!  But he did shave a few years off me, saying I am 78 when I am really 95 at least.  Thanks js.  You just wait bud.  I know when yours is. hehe

Ok, so this has been a nice day for me.  I had 3 wild deer, really tame wild deer, wander into my yard and stay for about an hour.  So of course I had to snap a few pics of them. Never  mind I have a whack of them already.  They are so cute but watch out for my plants! 

They don’t bother the rosemary tree.

Yes, I call it a tree.  It is the small one in front of them.

The big one is on the other side, out of site, out of mind too.  And hey it has blue flowers on it already.  And parsley still growing on the ground I found.  Amazing.  I love it.

A bit cloudy here today was warm and sunny yesterday but still quite nice.

Ok, going to enjoy this song.  This version is quite wild.  Wow.  Well that reminds me we had an minor earthquake here Friday morning, I was awake around that time but did not feel it like some others did. Actually it was centered 25 KM NW of Seattle, Washington.  So close to here across the Juan de Fuca pond.
