The pin is mutilcolored, it reminded me actrually and rather wierdly of an oil slick's pattern of color! Be that as it may, it's made out of Abalone Shell, and for the mere price of 16.95 I was able to order it. Shipping brought the price to $19.95. Not bad for such a lovely pin! Thanks Gene for your push in the right direction! I know she'll love it to pieces. And to think it all goes to a great cause makes it even more special!
